Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Asha is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar. She works with young people and adults around a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, interpersonal problems and trauma. She also has experience working with clients around the psychological issues that can accompany physical illness. These include difficulties adjusting to diagnoses, symptoms and treatments, managing health-related behaviours, addressing health anxiety and managing carer burden.
Asha tailors her therapeutic approach to the individual, and draws upon a range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is passionate about helping clients live happy, healthy and meaningful lives.
